Another - this one actually off the album. Sounds a bit like Bonobo after he’s spent a few years in Detroit. Which would be a good experiment for all involved.

He supported ame (forgive my silly english keyboard) last month so I gave him a little readup and listen beforehand. His influences are described somewhere between death cab for cutie, four tet and Thom Yorke. Which explains why I’d rather to eat my hands than wait until 16th June for his album.
Bursting at the seems with moody soundscapes. And it’s a slow builder that just seems to get better and better, which is quite impressive for a 9 minute song.
Get the album to appreciate fully.
One day I will be a Berliner. Check ‘em out, Especially New Jack Nation - that is too cool. This one has nicer noises though. Ha.

Something a bit different. Very Warp records. Super happy and super summery. And it’s just about the limit of my French. Which is a fairly damning report given that I’ve lived here for 8 months. The album is wonderful too as you’d expect.

On that note - here is a track off Gold Panda’s soon-to-be-released album. The track seems appropriately named to me.

Timeless. It popped up on Gold Panda’s DJ Kick’s album a while back, which is also worth a listen..
Everything they touch turns to gold. Go see them - I’ve tried 4 times and for one reason or another I’ve never made it., but soon. Very soon. Note this isn’t the full version - go buy it, it’s better.
I’ve just experienced my first Nuits Sonores having recently moved to Lyon. It was nuts. Seriously I’ve never been to anything like it, pretty faultless. Anyway this was the closing song of the festival and its’s been in my head since. Crazy Good Memories. Dece sur Dix. Sorry.

Pedestrian dropped this at Snowboxx festival in Andorra in March and I’ve been waiting ever since to have a full version. Note this was a 6 minute highlight on what was quite possibly the worst festival of all time (ignoring everything Gottwood related - which was obviously tiptop)
